Could I kick Floyd's ass?

You would lose in a humiliating and quick manner.I'm 6'2", 202 lbs. in decent shape. Run 10 miles a week. Bench press 225 pretty easy. Do pretty hard work for a living. Just wondering if I wanted to, could I handle Floyd in a fight? Oh, and I'm a PBF fan. Just curious as to what level professional boxers are over regular people. And let me add, I've been in street fights, but never put on boxing gloves.Comment

Straight up... My suggestion to you is go to your nearest gym... Hit a heavy bag... call on a batamweight who has been boxing at an amateur level for at 3-4 years and tell me you hit harder than him. To be honest I have been to Gyms and seen guys weigh 130-140 put up waaaaaaay more than 225 easily. Hell I aint as big as you but can lift significantly more.
Now put that strength in a dude 118 who does not lift weights but uses his strength to put hole in someones head... Rafael Marquez, Israel Vasquez would murder you...Last edited by Alibata; 10-24-2007, 06:42 PM.Comment

Only if you know what your doing... I've fought guys twice my size with ease(looonnng time ago)...even before I knew how to box...It depends on the person... Somebody trained would definintely have an advantage...Comment

When K1 was new... I watched a ladder match without weightclasses and one of the bouts was a heavyweight againts a thai dude that couldn't have been more than a lightweight.. Needless to say the heavyweight won via decision but could not advance due to severe damage.... This is between trained fighters both skilled, smaller guy being a little more skilled...Thats true , I watched a spar some years back between a Commonwealth Welter Champ and 212 lb ripped guy that had 9 kick boxing bouts for 9 wins , the boxer beat the **** out of the big dude , it was like robo man chasing shadows and the hard body shots just slayed him , welters punch hard for the speed they have .Comment

Thanks for the opinion. All these reply's were funny as hell. Been laughing all day, really, but you know the saying, "Hard head makes a soft behind"? I'm going to the gym next week and see what happens. I'm not gonna start no ****, just gong to ask someone to spar. Then I'll know for sure. There will be updates posted. More than likely I'll get pwned, but if not I'm gonna talk **** big time on this site! Believe it.Comment
