Hey guys I like Pavlik also.Dont' get me wrong. But to me pavlik still has alot to prove. Yes he did beat taylor in a good match.Honestly taylor was winning the fight when he got ko'd. To me pavlik has got alot more to prove before I give him all the credit everyone else is giving him. He has to beat taylor again then fight a another top rank guy.To me all he has done is beat taylor in a match where taylor was winning about 4 rounds to 2. But lets say for instance he fights taylor in this rematch and loses. He will be but a faded memory of some lucky guy. I like him myself and was very happy to see him beat taylor but I need to see a little more from him before I start giving him more credit.Let me know what you guys think..........I'm very curious?

Taylor himself said he was losing when they interviewed him backstage.
Pavlik said he thought he was winning when they interviewed him.
It was a shock to both fighters that the cards were in favor of Taylor.
That should tell you something. -
At the end of his legacy, it actually probably won't be.
Miranda - That strong MF who would get thoroughly outboxed by Jeff Lacy. Power can only take you so far... definately not far enough to be elite or remembered after your era has passed.
Will anyone remember Spinks, Trinidad or De La Hoya for beating Ricardo Mayorga? Doubt it.Comment

This is pretty rational stuff coming from a Hatton fan LOL. But seriously, I agree with everything you said except I had the fight even at 3 rounds a piece (Taylor up because of the KD). I'm a Pavlik fan, but its not like he blew Taylor out of the water. Quite the opposite. It was a damn close fight and I could see the next fight being a toss up like the first.Hey guys I like Pavlik also.Dont' get me wrong. But to me pavlik still has alot to prove. At the time of the knockout, most people had it even or Pavlik up a round...ie...Merchant, Lederman. But, in all fairness to Taylor, he had no chance against Pavlik outside a lucky shot, and he almost got that in the 2nd round. It's better that it ended in the 7th instead of Taylor possibly sustaining brain damage in a long pulverizing fight with Pavlik.
Unfortunately, Pavlik will do it to Taylor again in the rematch. Taylor cannot handle Pavlik.Comment

Quite a bold statement considering most people only had it one point in Pavlik's favor. At the time of the knockout, most people had it even or Pavlik up a round...ie...Merchant, Lederman. You forgot the real truth... Pavlik's only chance was to KO Taylor, you saw the scorecards after the fight.Comment
