    Lucian Bute is a Beast

I just watched Bute's fight with Berrio and I was extremely impressed. Berrio is no pushover, he has 25 KO's in 26 wins and Bute pretty much handled him with ease, he also showed a good chin as well. The finish was absolutely brutal, Bute savagely beat up Berrio in the corner and he put him to sleep on his feet forcing the ref to stop the fight. Lucian Bute is a 6,2 southpaw and he will give anyone in the division trouble, he should face the winner of Calzaghe vs Kessler.

Bute has turned Montreal into a boxing town, there were 14,000 fans at this fight. Another Romanian-Canadian, Adrian Diaconu is also a big draw in Montreal and I think he has a good chance of beating Chad Dawson when they meet up for the WBC Light Heavyweight Belt.

He's not ready yet. I think he should fight Carl Froch. If he wants a loss on his record then I guess who should want to fight Calzaghe or Kessler next... I don't think he is ready for them just yet.

I'm still campaigning for Librado Andrade to get another shot at a world title. I know he was completely outclassed by Kessler, but I think Calzahge and Kessler are far ahead of the rest of the crop in the SMW division.

I haven't, or don't remember seeing Lucian Bute fight, so I can't say too much about him. For those that have seen him, how would a first title defense against the "iron-chinned" Mexican pan out???

Styles make fights, and that might be a fight he loses... I don't think Andrade is a good fight for him if he wants to stay a winner

Andrade is a tough SOB, but I see Bute winning a UD 118-110. Do you think Bute could beat Carl Froch? I have never really seen him fight before.

I wish they would've shown the Bute fight here in the States! Andrade seems like such a cool guy and you know he's always going to be ready to fight. We'll see if his name gets mentioned at all as a possible opponent for Bute.

That's almost as dominating a performance as Kessler put on him! Is Bute that good that Andrade would only win a couple of rounds? I know he's easy to hit, but he throws a lot in return.

Montreal is a boxing town believe me. Mtl is the second city in North America for the numbers of boxing events ( after Las Vegas ). I don't agree with people who thinks we only follow boxing for Bute. I think it's more because of the apparition of the two promoters group: Gym and Interbox.

                  There's also others great fighters:

Gym : Joachim Alcine ( champion ) Jean Pascal ( good prospect ) Ngoudjo ( I think he deserved a draw or a win against Castillo ) Sebastien Demers ( not that good )
Interbox : Lucian Bute ( champion ) Adrian Diaconnu ( I think he will become a champ, I hope he can get his shot against Dawson ) Ionut Dan Ion ( good prospect )

and many others. I hope people from all the world will begin to look at what happen here, don't forget that the population of Quebec is only 8 000 000.

Scoop : Apparently, Golden Boy Promotions contacted Interbox and are interested by a fight between Andrade and Bute.

Maybe 118-110 is a stretch, but I could see him winning 116-112 or something like that. Andrade just dosen't have enough skill to seriously threaten Bute.
