Manny shelving plans to move to lightweight

That's right! When Juan started looking like a killing machine Pachaters started calling out for this fight.....LOL. Remember that it was Pac who called out Juan Diaz first when Juan defeated countryman Randy Suico. None of the pac-haters pretty much wanted it coz he wasn't so invincible back then. Pachaters wanted JMM or Soto............Wow, Ace, i didn't think you were going to sink to the level of pac huggers.
I very aware how many challengers Pacquiao has at jr. lightweight in fact he has many opponet to keep him at jr. lightweight for 3 more years if not 2.
But, when Pac crys wolf, "I want to move up and challege Juan Diaz"
Then when Juan looks like a killing machine. We here Pac say, "I will stay at jr. lightweight." This is where the critique comes from.
Anything for Pacquiao to lose.Comment

You just have to admit you're asking Pac to move up too soon just so you can get his ass kicked.
Before Diaz came to the scene, haters were preaching how Valero would ko Pac. Now when Pac decides to stay at 130 to fight Valero, he suddenly becomes a chicken.
Was it a chicken move for Juan Diaz to move down to 135 after starting out at 140 because his punches had no effect at that weight? I guess some would say it was a wise decision. Now when Pac decides to stay at 130 to clean up the division, people call him a chicken.
Geezzz.... you are funny.Comment

You can prolly ask Diaz to move up to 147 now to fight Cotto. If he doesn't move up, I guess that makes him the same chicken as Pacquiao.Comment

This is good news. No need for Pac to move up and give other fights an advantage over him. It's not like there isn't anyone decent fights a 130 for him.Comment

Well you see, that doesn't work that way.Amatuers and pro is way different.Examples:Taylor k.o ed Pavlick in the amatuers, and what happened in the pro's?Another one:Martin Castillo the former 115 champ beat Mayweather in the amatuers,do you think he can beat him in the pro's?Another one:Cotto was beat by Pinto and Abdulev in the amatuers what happened in the pro's he k.oed them.So don't use that bull**** as a measuring stick cuz it doesn't work that way.Last edited by -Mbandit-; 10-24-2007, 12:41 AM.Comment

Yeah, but the thing is:Well you see, that doesn't work that way.Amatuers and pro is way different.Examples:Taylor k.o ed Pavlick in the amatuers, and what happened in the pro's?Another one:Martin Castillo the former 115 champ beat Mayweather in the amatuers,do you think he can beat him in the pro's?Another one:Cotto was beat by Pinto and Abdulev in the amatuers what happened in the pro's he k.oed them.So don't use that bull**** as a measuring stick cuz it doesn't work that way.
Pac KO11 MAB
Pac UD JMM (if not for judge's error)
Pac KO11 Morales
Pac KO3 Morales
Pac UD MAB
MAB and Morales have shown to OWN fighters at 135. Peden (who came from 135) and David Diaz were the creme of the crop in that division. So take all of this plus the fact that Suico couldnt make a suitable sparring partner for Pac, what do you get?Comment
