I really like Mosley, seems like a really good guy, but I would say Cotto.
Mosley, although still in excellent shape, is getting on in years, and eventually it will catch up to him and his career will go downhill very suddenly. Cotto has a lot of years ahead of him in age. This could be a kind of a 'passing of the torch'. it has to happen eventually.
Also, Im expecting Floyd to be fighting the winner of this fight. and call me crazy, but I think Cotto and him match up well. A boxer puncher vs. a hard hitting guy that always comes forward makes some of the best matchups. Floyd may not be a huge puncher, but I would consider Cotto a little chinny and his defense has some holes in it...Floyd would be able to snap his head around if he hit him flush. And theres no way that Floyd is going to be able to block ALL of Cotto's huge shots to the body. I think it would be a very engaging fight.
Mosley vs. Mayweather would be enjoyable to watch, great boxing match...but honestly, Im not sure how it would be better than Cotto vs. Floyd. personally, I think those that dislike Floyd are just saying that Mosley vs Floyd would be the better fight because it seems more likely that Floyd would lose, lol.
but I leaning torwards Mosley to win.
Actually, I believe Mosley is the underdog here....
Anyhow.. I voted for Mosley as I want to see him against Mayweather...
If Mayweather gets by Hatton, I don't see Cotto beating him
I'm not saying that Hatton is a better fighter (although I think his skills are better than Cotto's) it's just that if Mayweather picks Hatton apart, similar destiny will await Cotto, while Mosley is a different story.
Hatton is a good kid but Cotto is far more viscious. Cotto's relentless pressure is with his fists while Hatton holds on after delivering a punch or combonation. So with that I have to disagree and say that Cotto's skills are far more explosive and better tuned in my opinion.
