did he look better than he did against bika? because I thought he barely eaked out a decision against bika.

He's getting better with each fight. People don't seem to undertstand where theres a huge fight like Lucian Bute vs Alejandro Berrio, that we saw the best berrio come in that night. Bute was just on a level so much above, so I don't care if Berrio doesn't have the greatest chin in the world. When he's fighting someone like Bute his chin becomes alot harder so of course it would take Bute to take him out longer. Big fights bring the bad ass out of each fighter. We end up seeing the best out of fighters. Like that was the best version of Taylor I've ever seen when he fought Pavlik, I wanted to Taylor to win but I thought he was going to run and he didn't run he just boxed. I think that Taylor that night could have seriously hurt winky if winky had a rematch with Taylor.

we must not have been watching the same fight then. It wasnt a shutout, but Bute wasnt ever close to losing.

For every boxing fan lost in the USA, 2 are born abroad

Boxing is more popular than ever in Canda, England, Germany, Eastern Europe, Phillipines, etc...

Boxing has never been so alive !

I didn't see this fight nor have I seen Lucian Bute fight, I don't remember seeing him anyway...I guess I might have. Has he fought on ESPN2 at all during one of their Canadian trips?

For those who have seen him, how would a first defense for Bute against Librado Andrade pan out?

Lucien Bute beat Sakio Bika every bit as dominantly as Joe Calzaghe did. In fact maybe Bika gave Calzaghe slightly more trouble than he gave Bute. Comparing common opponents can only go so far, just because of how styles match up, but I think this says something about Bute.
