Povetkin may be green in the pro ranks but his quality of opposition has been better than some top 20 fighters in his first 13 fights.
He was also not a World Class KickBoxing champ or Boxing World & Olympic Champ in his amateur career for nothing.
Povetkin is a good fighter and I believe he will win either a UD or a mid-late KO.
He is better than a lot of people give him credit for.
Chris Byrd is past his prime.

Chris Byrd has very little left as an elite fighter. He was clearly showing his age against Klitschko and Povetkin is a hungry and young (if overrated) fighter, expect Povetkin to stop him. Unless Byrd's experience proves too much for his younger opponent.

Povetkin is THE heavyweight prospect right now and verry good and Byrd is still a solid Top10 fighter. If Byrd comes in good shape and the right gameplan it will be a close decision that could go either way but if he comes in so la la condition like in his last fight and the wrong gameplan Povetkin may knock him out. But i have to pick and i pick Povetkin by close decision in an good skillfull heavyweight fight.

Povetkin by TKO rd 8.
So you Reckon Povetkin can Punch as hard as W Klitschko and Ibeaucachi???

Byrd cannot KO Povetkin and cannot win on points in Germany. Povetkin should win this on points, unless he's much better than I thought and might actually KO Byrd. I doubt it's gonna happen though. Povetkin by UD.

Povetkin has no lucidity in his boxing at all, he's flat footed, looks like a plodder most of the time, he has semi-fast hands and he's a semi-hard puncher, Byrd will look to out box him and will do it IMO.

well byrd has only been knocked out twice and only once in his prime, both of these losses were against big punchers and i don't think povetkin has the power of ever nor the hand speed. i think byrd has enough left in him still to win a SD.
