the entire article was a bit pretentious, but Holmes, well he is good ol' Larry. A very articulate man even though he was punched in the head for a living. Larry was/is underrated and generally avoided due to his somewhat off-standish attitude. Granted I would be the same way if I were him. He was great and not appreciated and he resented that, and he knew he would have to suck up a little bit to be accepted, and that was not in his nature. I completely and utterly respect him for turning down multi-millions to fight Gerrie Coetzee in S. Africa because Holmes was opposed to Apartheid and didn't feel those bastards should benefit because of him. Damn right Larry. He might've insulted everyone with his Marciano comment, but seriously, do you think Rocky could've gotten by that jab. Larry wasn't a little man by any means and was a masterful technician.
