Liston was past his prime at that point though. Crazy to think of him and Foreman as favorites against Ali, especially Foreman with all that Ali had done to that point.

I think Buddy is right. Hatton is a raging tornado but he always do the same. Body, body, body. When you find a key to block his style he suddenly transform in a easy target.

Mayweather is too smart, he will win this fight with his brain.

I wouldn't discredit Buddy McGirt as a trainer, he's one of the best. But his comments do smack of sour g****s in this fight. After all, he was convinced that Gatti could beat Mayweather.

                Lmao!

In all fairness, that was technically the best advice McGirt could give Gatti at the time...you know?

"Jab him to the shoulder Arturo"

....to maybe get lucky and accidently land one or part of a jab on Floyd when he's hiding behind his shoulder haha

Buddy's gotta talk ****, whats he gonna say?

                  "Yeah Gatti is gonna lose"

I remember reading this board ages ago, i think quite a few people fancied gatti by knockout cos he was much bigger.

I picked floyd by TKO in 5.
