Much has been spoken about Jose Luis Castillo's involvement in the careers of Floyd Mayweather and Ricky Hatton. Of course, we've heard it all, mainly that JLC was "shot" when he fought Hatton, and that he was a great fighter when he was overcome by Floyd. As to being shot; maybe so, maybe no. In my view, JLC never laid down to anybody. One thing for certain, JLC is a pressure oriented, skilled boxer-puncher. His first fight with Floyd at 135 provides one interesting blue-print of how to successfully take a fight to Floyd. In the clip below, you will note how Floyd elected to stand in against JLC (kudos to Floyd) and became vulnerable to a sustained head and body attack. In the second clip, you will note Hatton's offensive pressure. Hopefully from this we may catch a glimpse of what is to come in December. If so, we're in for a great fight.

Mayweather in that first fight. How Floyd gets away with all those elbows and pushing people off with his elbow I'll never know.
