IT'S TIME TO SEPERATE THE PRETENDERS FROM CONTENDERS. THINGS ARE STARTING TO NARROW DOWN AT 147. SOON ONLY ONE GUY WILL BE STANDING.

Nothing wrong with Mosley except he's 36 and will be in with a much younger, stronger fighter. Cotto TKO 7.

I agree with the author of this thread.

Especially on the more explicit detail.

Cotto is going to get busted up something terrible. The truly good fortune of it all is that a ****load of people don't see it coming. It's fine if some will want to claim that Mosley could have won in their minds in spite of the fact that they picked Cotto.. But the truth is, if you've been riding the Cotto train this whole time; now was the time to have gotten off.

Those who stay onboard are worse than anyone who got off 3 fights ago, even though Miguel kept winning. If you can't understand he's going to lose this one, you probably can't understand ****.

There were many who jumped ship at Quintana..

      They were the smart ones.

If that's all you're leaning on.....counting on mosley to be the old past his prime pug who can't hang with the young guys.....you better not be making a huge wager....because you'll end up broke.

This is a makum or breakum fight , Cotto steps into the bigtime or Mosley looks to retirement or Cottos bubble is burst and Shanes looking at winner of Mayweather Hatton , Mosley has the skills and Cotto the youth and determination ,, Mosley at this weight wont take the same shot he has at a bigger weight , he went well with Collazo because Luis is pretty soft compared to Cotto , I think if Mosely gets on his bike he will get UD but if he engages Cotto could get to him , Cottos not real flashy and is rising in mental toughness every fight , I dont really lean either way and the views of members from both sides have good points ,, should be a cracker of a fight .

Man, I just saw Clottey Cotto...that was something sad to see Cotto hanging on for dear life like that. Same with Torres...had the referee been less tolerant he probably would've stopped it when Cotto was on the ropes. I think those were the only ones where Cotto was truly in danger of losing, with emphasis on Torres.
Zab rocked him early but nothing to worry about (depending whether you were rooting for Cotto or not).

I still hope for Cotto to win, though. Blame the ethnicity.

If Mosley is 100 percent Cotto's face will look very different after the fight. I expect Shane to win but I don't know if it be by a KO or TKO. If Shane wins the first 2 or 3 rounds I think it'll be his night. If Cotto can walk him down and land good then Shane could be in trouble. I don't know if Cotto switching stances will bother Shane, unless Cotto does great fighting southpaw.

Oh I count on a more exciting fight than the PBF/RH one, and I still think Mosley has enough in the tank to beat Mayweather, as long as Cotto doesn't beat him up too bad.

Well you keep saying that like a in love teenager. You still haven't countered my viewpoint and explained why you think Cotto will win.
I'm not even sure how stronger Cotto is then Mosley. Mosley has been at 154 fighting Vargas knocking him out silly. Vargas might of been washed up but he was a strong kid. Vargas only got knocked out by great fighters (tito, oscar, Mosley). Here are the things you have to consider:

                    1. How much better is Cotto's chin compared to Vargas's really?
                    2. Vargas got hurt by 3 big punchers BUT great fighters.
                    3. Cotto got hurt by big punchers (Corley?, Torres) but not great fighters.

Question is.... how will Cotto keep Mosley from landing all those fast, accurate punches? By Pressure...Mosley has seen it all. Punching power....Mosley has been in with alot of hard punchers with better ability and hasn't been knocked out yet. Speed....Is cotto as fast as Delahoya
                    ?

                    I don't think so.
