    ..Mayweather/Tszyu.. The 'Ducking' Issue...

Wiley Hyena, has stated that he believes Floyd Mayweather Jr. DUCKED Kostya Tszyu. His reasoning for that was, essentially that Mayweather should have wanted to beat the TRUE champion at 140.

Yet, Wiley doesn't believe that Kostya Tszyu ducked Vince Phillips, when he didn't want a rematch. He refused a rematch so much, that he actually went to COURT, just to make sure it didn't happen.

If you're going to use Wiley's logic (that when you want something, you should go out there and get it) than if Mayweather is ducking Kostya Tszyu, by that same logic, wouldn't Kostya Tszyu be ducking Vince Phillips..

    WHAT THEY SHOULD HAVE WANTED
Mayweather: Recoginition as the best 140 pounder. A win over a great fighter. The UNIFIED 140 pound championship.
Kostya Tszyu: To show TRUE dominance at 140 (something always questioned when you lose to a journeyman). Revenge and redemption. To erase any doubt about his true skill and legacy at 140.

If one is a duck, isn't the other?

Too much confusion and induendo in your poll ,,, Floyd ducking KT is pure speculation with not one shred of stand up evidence to back it up not a shred , yet a mountain of dates , contracts , recorded history to prove it the claim false , absolute proof .

On the other hand KT did duck Phillips and the hard copy proof is there for all to see , it happened and its absolute fact !

You have no poll C-drone .

The poll reads.. If Floyd ducked (Kostya), by Wiley's standards, then wouldn't Kostya have been ducking Vince Phillips. The poll is easy for me to understand, especially as I typed out what the poll truly meant in the first post on this thread.

"Ducking" a guy that beat you already is the silliest thing I've ever heard of. You duck a guy that you've never fought or one you beat in a close or controversial decision or with a lucky punch. Besides, Phillips didn't have a good enough record to qualify to fight Tszyu later on.

That's a reason you give someone to allow thmem to duck in my opinion. If someone beats you, and you have a chance to get redemption and you choose not to, you're making a mistake in my mind. I wouldn't call it ducking, but if Mayweather was ducking.. than so is Kostya Tszyu.

Hang on a minute , he made a mistake , dam Phillips had his title ! and the win over him !

Ducking is when you clearly should fight someone and dont when you , have the opportunity to fight that person , have the reason to fight that person , have that person wanting to fight you to the point of taking you court , and then you dont try to redeem yourself , offering not a single reason , KT ducked a rematch with Vince Phillips 200% its blatant ,,, any other great fighter in the same position would take the fight , not only taken it would be screaming for it .

JT is in the same boat as KT was now lets see if Jermaine fights Pavlik again , if he dont you guys are going to bag Taylor something chronic ,, but KT didnt duck Vince Phillips ,, bull**** he didnt !

Roger Mayweather has referred to Kostya and a possible fight with Floyd.

"If" Kostya can raise himself from the dead so to speak..

I believe Kostya got all the belts back after the loss to Phillips in 97.

Now Phillips is automatically entitled to a "rematch" with his 15 losses, or whatever it was??

                  Rodbarker......reeeeeeeeeaaaaaaching.

You'll never get over it will you? Floyd fought bums instead of Tszyu, when Tszyu was the undisputed champion. Floyd signed to fight Gatti when there was an offer out there to get Tszyu and Floyd together, an offer of which Tszyu publicly stated his interest in. If it walks like a duck and smells like a duck, then as we all know IT PROBABLY IS A DUCK.
