bottom line: dude had a 20-13 record mostly fighting in the PI. how great a win could that be?

he did some things in that fight i havent seen him do before. He was much more calculative, im sorry but i have to disagree with you on this one, i think he was trying a few things out and did some nice work.

I didn't see this fight nor am I a Darchinyan fan per se, but he is by no means dropped from contender status in the division. He is still ranked 6th by The Ring and his only loss is to a good counter puncher who caught him flush on this chin. The fight last night was a tune up, who the hell would expect his comeback fight to be against a world class opponent?

Bring on Nonito Donaire - Darchinyan II so we can all see if Vic is indeed back.

he did do some things, but overall he was average..i'm from OZ and I am a fan of his, but I'll be honest, I expected him to be a a few notches better tonight..

Good for Vic. We all knew he was going to be outclassed sooner or later with that style. He's still interesting to watch. Kind of like a sloppier, tiny Ricardo Mayorga. His attitude after getting knocked out kind of turned me off as a fan though. He was anything but gracious in defeat.
