    What do you think the minimum fighting weight should be?

    or do you think it's fine as is?


    personally, i think no man under 112 should be in there boxing.

    I mean, 105 is okay... who gives a ****? Why would you want to discriminate against a Ricardo Lopez? That dude had a sick career (at least on boxrec, because that's all I've seen of him).

      why?
      they're all fighting guys of the same weight
      i would be more worried about a 205lb heavy fighting one of the new breed of 260lbers!

        I agree with the person who made this thread. The fighters in those lighter weight classes are the ones you hear about dying from draining thier weight. 105 is too light. most 8 and 9 year old children do not weigh that low. that is too light and not healthy for grown men. they should increase the limit a little bit.

          some men are naturally that size, not many but some are

          there have always been problems with fighters losing weight for a fight right from straw to light-heavies.

                Those weights have real markets overseas so mo power to em. Aks yourself this...if there were one flyweight division and most of the fighters were still in Asia, would you really watch more?
