Bute is a limited fighter not in Mundines class. Im still laughing about how Danny Green wasn't a world class fighter even though he was ranked number 4 by ring magazine.
Was Bute the champ when he negotiated his last fight? I guess not.
Can he get his next fight on an American network? Of cause.
You cant pay a champ 1/3 to fight in your backyard.. LOL

Seriously; Mundine not being a hot topic for any belt holders, has nothing to do with his wins/losses/abilities. Australia is an isolated continent when it comes to boxing, and no one knows has to compare them unless they face some international fighters.

Green, ranked high or not, fought most of his fights in Australia, and is outside most known for his looses to Beyer.
Soliman is the guy who has a pretty loss to Winky.
Mundine himself got ko’ed the only time he left your prison island.

      Mundine is an idiot.
This is a guy who said that 9/11 was justified.
I guess if you want to support a man who condones terrorism that is up to you.

No no no mate. We have been over this in the aussie forum. Read the transcript of the interview. He said this " America's foreign policy has brought it on themselves". He does not support terrorism. He is that dumb that it sounded that way. But that interview was an example of the media hammering a guy who can't speak properly. He doesn't defend terrorism, he condones it. He was misquoted, he didn't say that. Read the transcript mate.

LOL i don't know how to multi quote so im doing another reply. Mundine is weird with that he won't go to America. Hopefully they still fight. You make some valid points. Soliman lost to Winky by 2 points. Mundine KHTFO. Come on you have to admit his display against Green was impressive? Prison island lol. We are a democracy and i would live no where else.

As a fighter i really like Mundine. His speed and style makes for some interesting fights. I was impressed by both the Soliman and the Green fight. If you looked at my posts regarding Mundine from that time, I'd say they are all pro-Mundine.
The only trouble I have with him, is him demanding everybody should come to Australia and face him, when he instead should look for the best offer her could get from the outside world.
You can't ignore the losses, Mundine has to make up for Ottke, Siaka and Kessler, and he can't do it by a one fight strategy. Making less money by fighting outside would be an investment. One also needed by many fighters besides Mundine!

Yes i agree with what you have to say. All of Australia would sacrifice not being able to go to his fights, so he fights on a PPV in the USA quite happily.

The Siaca loss was plain dissapointing. The Ottke and Kessler losses were different. He had Ottke hurt the round before, one punch from knocking him out, but ran out of gas. That KO was mainly from being really tired i am 190% sure of that. And vs Kessler, well it was Kesslers toughest fight, a great fight. Since then Mundine has gone up a level and improved a lot since he last fought Kessler. He is maturing and will hit his peak in the next 18 months. Good argument. I win. lol. Im off for tonight. Have a good one
