Shane was one of many athletes who were clients of BALCO. Several other clients admit that they knew what they were taking, and Victor Conte AND THE CHEMIST have come clean about the program. The track athletes were all suspended. Or retired.

This was a revolutionary program. That is why the athletes associated with Balco had "leading edge" performances. It was no coincidence.

I don't think he's telling the truth about everybody either. Not based on anything personal. I just don't believe anyone who does something illegal for any length of time, for strictly personal gain, comes out and all of a sudden, is 100% trust-worthy. ****, I don't think ANYONE, period, is 100% trust-worthy. Let alone someone who may want to push some of the focus onto others. Which is why he STILL would lie about some of the people he's named. You don't think in his communitee of people, ehe has to feel some guilt, or see people metaphorically pointing the finger at him? It's not really unlikely that he would want some of the focus off of him.
