    Zab Judah, still highly active

    2007-11-17 Ryan Davis 20 (8) - 6 (1) - 2 Casablanca Casino, Providenciales, Turks And Caicos Islands 12

^According to boxrec, he fights for the IBC light MW title on November 17th. I'll give it to the kid, he has a lot of drive, no matter how down and out people see him to be. He still believes in himself, and that is what makes others still believe in him, even if ever so slightly. I just really don't understand this jump to 154. He already has a problem being bullied around, ala Baldy and Cotto, and even struggled a tiny bit against the bigger Edwin Vasquez. I always saw his most natural weight at 140, given his frame and height. His power will also be diluted so I really hope that he's practicing on his discipline and ring generalship, since his talent is a given..

Yeah the fight is correct. ESPN's Dan Rafael says its a one shot deal at 154 for Judah. He doesn't plan to stay there.

If he thinks he can do something at 154, he should just retire. If he can still make 140, that's where he should truly be.

^^Well thank goodness for him, because I like Judah and still have a lot of faith in his potential, but I think he'd get killed up there if he stayed. The only fight I'd like to see him in at that weight is a rubber match with Cory Spinks..

          My thoughts too.

Lord, he needs to make 140, he could be a beast down there again.

              Who is Ryan Davis?
Why doesn't Judah try get a re-match with Junior Witter now he is the 140 WBC champ?

zab is doing this for rounds, after this id expect another c or d level guy before he steps it up a bit. zab still has business at 147, including a rematch with carlos baldomir.

Not letting the hands go is the first sign of a shot fighter.

good movie. he needs to get his confidence back and a couple of more rounds before he starts going at the bigger names.
