For the record, I'll be the first to say that Jordan was great, but people forget about how he did have a good team as well.

My guess? This is going to be a battle royal between Pistons, Miami Heat, Kings, Timberwolves and Spurs for the title.
The Stons will manhandle the Heat, manhandle the Kings, beat the T-Wolves in 6, and beat the Spurs in 6 should they play these teams for the title. They have enough big bodies to throw at Shaq and the Heat are still just too damned inexperienced to run with one of the best TEAMS of the last 20 years...Sheed and KG would be a nice battle to watch. Sheed is tall enough and long enough to guard KG and Duncan.

I share your view on this, Lakers doesn't have a strong line-up this season. Many basketball critics have said that Miami has been the one which benefited from the trade between Shaq and the 3 Miami Heat players! I agree. And i believe that Shaq is still that dominating and intimidating even if he's already 32 years old!

Well, the the tip-off is coming this November, and Miami Heat is about to test it with Shaq in their front line! Let us see what he can do... one thing is for sure this is gonna be exciting the teams are so balance! Pistons has the edge but not that dominant.

Shaq is a very young 32 Stats will show that Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan are the 2 most dominant player today, BUT if Shaq is in his elements not even a double team can stop him! IF Miami gets out of the East they will be the NBA Champs!!

Ha ha, well i guess it's pretty clear now who was more valuable between the 2. The lakers were just on an 8 game losing streak and are in danger of not even making the playoffs. Lmao!

                  **** Kobe and the Lakers.

You know Shaq and Phil are laughing their ass off.

i agree wit duncan but not with garnett. his team might miss the playoffs after winning the west last year. imo a truly dominant player doesnt let that happen.

as of right now shaq is the mvp, just look at the lakers and heat last year compared to now. steve nash and allen iverson deserve a lot of credit but they are not doing what Shaq is.

my mvp vote(if i had one)
                    Shaq... best player in league
Iverson...carrying the sixers, maybe his best season yet
Nash.... leads leauge in assists but doesnt play defence
Duncan... might be first or second but injuries

The Suns are very mediocre without Nash. If you look at splits for what he's done for Amare Stoundamire ALONE you'd see that Amare is only decent without him. The only rock on that team outside of Nash is Shawn Marion. The rest of the guys depend on his presence on the floor.

Iverson is deperately trying to get the sixers a secure spot in the playoffs and I agree that he may be having his best season yet...BUT...they do have C-Webb now and they have put together some nice players around Ivos and they are still struggling. Iverson, Webber, Iguodala, Dalembert, Korver should be one of the top teams in the east down the stretch but they aren't getting it done so far.

The injuries are plaguing Duncan right now.

My vote as of today would go to Shaq or Nash. Honerable mentions would be Ivos, Duncan and Bron.
