Will Ricky Hatton retire after the 0 is gone?

    After Dec 18th.

I believe he will retire and join Prince Naseem Hamed at the all you can eat buffet.

Fast forward to year 2010....both Ricky and the Prince decide to come out of retirement to finish their career off right.

So they both comeback debuting in the heavyweight division in seperate bouts on the same Card. Butterbean is always looking for a payday...maybe he can fight both.

That should be a historic event.

I don't think that he will when 0 is gone, him or mayweather. I think the incentive for them to retire is the 0. So they can say they went out the best, nobody could beat them, once the loss is there, they are are just another elite fighter. And will continue to fight and try to prove themselves.

      No way.
I expect Hatton to lose, but there is no shame in losing to Floyd, Hatton will continue to have a succesful carreer after Floyd.

        Don't be ****ing ******.

Hatton won't retire after the fight...he won't pretend to retire either for a bigger pay day like big mouth Floyd.

To be honest i think there is more chance of him retiring if he wins, i can see that happening, with mayweather having to chase him out of retirement.

After Hatton gets brutalized by Floyd, he can take some time off and then come back for a big money fight vs Witter in Wembley.

Bjut Hatton will leave a piece of himself in the ring vs. Mayweather. He won't be the same fighter.

Nassem Hamed didnt offically retired but things happen that time that made him hard to go back on track in promotional view as well as security thing.

Hatton doesnt have that and he could come back stronger after his loss and more exciting I guess

Well of course he will comeback. As I said.....he will be back debuting in at the heavyweight limit of 200lbs. Nah but seriously, nce the guy takes that long layoff I doubt he will be able to comeback down to 140. He is done after this fight. I doubt he will be rushing to comeback as quick as possible and in between that time he will blow up in weight more then ever.
