Any James Toney News?

Anyone heard any news about James Toney lately? Last thing I heard was that he was preparing to return to the ring sometime in December against an unnamed opponent. This was after his one year suspension was reduced to six months for testing positive for a banned substance in his last outing again journey Danny Batchelder.

In any event, if I was a matchmaker for any young hw prospect I’d be clamoring for a fight against Toney b/c of his high profile name and his vulnerability at this stage in his career. It’s worked to help raise Alphonso Gomez’s profile after his exciting victory over Gatti….

Yea I saw that fight live in San Jo and it was a damn waste of money Toney-Batchelder. I dislike him after that show he put on AND he was on steroids??? Man Toney is done, quite a bust everyone was hyping him when he came to the division. Right now yea ur right, some prospect should knock him out of the division

Dude, I respect the hell out of James Toney as he is an amazing fighter. He in fighting is legendary. I love that old school style. He has great defense and counter-punching yet stays right in front of his man. Got tons of heart. But now he just needs to hang it up as he's older and fatter. I give his heavyweight run alot of respect, but he just needs to stop now.
