Hatton & Mayweather Fans agree...

Welter, I agree with you.
Here is the irony: Two years ago, Hatton turned down the Mayweather fight saying that they weren't ready and they thought it was a bad fight "style-wise". Cool... I respect that.
But the advantage that Hatton had back then was that he was a big , strong JWW and Floyd was a smallish JWW with kind of an immature body.
In the intervening two years, the style differences have remained static. What HAS changed is that Floyd is a bigger, stronger, and presumably tougher, fighter now. PBF has been fighting and sparring much bigger men, so I don't think that Hatton's strength will impress him.
Is Hatton stronger than Daniel Edouard?
I feel that when Hatton was saying that he wasn't ready, he was actually MORE ready than he is now. Plus, he wasn't coming off the big Tszyu win. He would have caught PBF by surprise.
Even after the Tszyu win, they should have taken the smaller version of PBF.

Great thread Moofo. I'm picking PBF to win the fight. But I would not be shocked if Hatton wins. Both are great fighters. And I think it's an awesome thing for boxing that they are lacing them up. May the best man win. I can't wait for Dec 8th.Comment

See here's where I have a problem with Hatton. His claim to fame is beating Tszyu who should have retired a long long ago, but hey can't blame him for the money he was getting. Hatton up to this point can't be seen as in the same league as Mayweather. Now if he beats Floyd, which I doubt then he can be given the elite staus his fans claim he's already achieved. I still think Maywether by a wide lopside decision in this one and if Hatton was to win it WOULD be an upset,Comment

No no, only LOGICAL fans would agree to that. They are both Elite fighters at the top of their game.
Otherwise what would be the point of the fight and also why every TRUE boxing fan can't wait to see it.
No matter who is your boy this is the TRUTH.
So may the best man win come Dec 8th.
Regardless of previous achievements from both fighters.
Surely there is no room for argument with this?
Both sides can surely agree?
Sign it and stop bitching!
Im sure there some illogical Floyd nuthuggers too, but the Hatton fanboys have been TERRIBLE on here lately.Comment
