wow this is awesome. I live in NY and always go to the fights in the Garden, now i have cotto-mosley, jones-trinidad, peter-maskaev (feb 2nd), and now this. however, since its a heavyweight unification fight, and since wlad is in it, the prices will defintely start at $100 instead of $50 so i better skip a fight or too so i can make sure i can afford it, unless i stop being such a lazy bum and get money to see them all. Either way wlad absolutely destroys ibragimov, no more than 5 rounds and i would be suprised if it went that far.

Glad to hear that Klitschko's returning to the ring early next year and the prospect of unification makes it better. Unlike many earlier posts, I think Ibragimov makes this a competitive fight until at least the 6-7th round, where Klitscko starts opening up with more punches and ends it. At any rate, I think this fight is much more competitive than recent Klitschko fights...

I'll believe it when I hear the opening bell ringing. Everybody's been talking about for years now and it's not happening. Ibragimov's manager did not sound too excited about the fight with Wlad when he mentioned that Wlad's people called him with an offer. Chagaev should jump in on this ****.

that cancelation had nothing to do with Wlad or his injuries, but rather his management where they didn't agree for a fight with Briggs..
Briggs claims that they had a verbal agreement. However the actual contract was never signed.
