Which is why I think he will have problems with Mayweather. Because against the older comp, Ricky has seemed to have the stamina advantage. But vs Collazo & Urango ( A Miami law firm?), he was the one fading late.

He didn't look good vs the fresher, younger fighters. Is that telling? I dunno.

The OTHER thing that I thought about was that Hatton looked like he can go forever in Manchester, but seemed that he may have been struggling at altitude.

I think naturally he will be more tired than ever. He's never had to stalk someone and punch at someone who is as evasive as they come. Floyd doesn't run. I would say he uses the whole ring to his advantage and tries not to stay in one place the entire night. Ricky is gonna have to reach a lot more in this fight. So yeah his stamina could very well come into play against Mayweather.

Ricky has said that "nothing is more tiring that punching fresh air" which is the smartest thing he said about this fight.

It would be insane to think that Hatton's connect % won't go way down from usual. It has happened to 37 of Floyd's opponents . Ricky ALSO said that he has to leave something in the tank for the final six rounds.

It's just gonna be really hard for RH to find that "sweet spot" between all-out-balls-to-the-wall aggression, and smart, pick-your-spots brawling.

Thats why I said in another thread that mosely might be the best canidate to do it.
Mosley was never as smart or skilled as PBF and Mosley is older now. Now what Mosley does have was a distinct power advantage and Mosley used to have just as much speed if not more in his prime. Mosley still has the power advantage but he doesn't match PBF's speed anymore IMO.

I DO, however, think that was the fight that turned me off to his fight style forever. I was OK with Tszyu, and I could live with the Collazo fight. But Urango was unwatchable.
To be fair to the Paler, he was sick for the Urango fight, hence the rapid switch off of his boxing.
