It appears the experts don't think that Mayweather vs. Hatton will be a blowout by any means.

Nope, not whatsoever.

You have some press saying that the fight is going to stink automatically because Floyd is in it. On the other hand you have people saying it's going to be a brawl; and we know quite obviously that's because Ricky is in it.

I held off on posting them because I didn't want to water down the other threads.. Not that there's any particular shortage of this stuff at present!

People who think Floyd is boring are idiots.

He IS boring when he is in against Bigger guys... Hatton is smaller.

I mean, MAYWEATHER vs CHAVEZ, AUGUSTUS, NOUDO, and CORLEY were all VERY exciting fights. And Mayweather-Judah wasnt half bad either. that was a good fight.

The reason i think this has a shot at being a FOTY type fight, is this. You gotta ask yourself these questions:

Why does Ricky Hatton Clinch?
-To get his man to the ropes where he does his best work. Mayweather ALWAYS fights off the ropes, he happens to be an exceptional fighter there. When you have a fight where both men are best against the ropes, one when his back is to them and the other when he's facing them, you get a brawl.

What makes the best fights?
-Ask anyone what the best Styles matchup is, they will say Boxer vs Puncher, Slickster vs brawler. Thats this fight!

And do these guys LIKE eachother?
-HELL NO!!! These guys are never gonna back down from eachother, this is legitimate hate. This isnt fake to sell tickets, these guys have been jawing at eachother for YEARS. Maybe they'll play it up a bit for the cameras in 24/7, but these 2 undoubtedly hate eachother.

BOTH guys have GREAT personalities, this should be a HUGE event, this should be a GREAT NIGHT for boxing, and this fight should be a great one, maybe even one for the ages.

i think its hard to tell whether the fights is going 2 be good or not,but i do know floyd is an exciting fighter.
