    Ricky: I'll beat him

RICKY HATTON says he will chase Floyd Mayweather round the ring in their WBC welterweight clash in Las Vegas on December 8.

The Brit said: "My heart will explode before I leave him alone for a single second.

"I intend to put the pressure on right from the start. As fast as he goes back, I will go forward.

"He is going to have to knock me out to win — he can’t outpoint me.

"I've got a nasty streak at the minute and there's not a cat-in-hell's chance he's going to beat me.

"With every punch I throw, even if it is shadow boxing, I've got so much focus."

If Ricky said that he will win, then it must be so.

Please bet large amounts of money on Ricky Hatton, a sure thing.

if mayweather will say he will fight toe to toe, then please think about it and associate toe to toe with him, and then agree that it aint gonna happen. if he thought toe to toe was what he did with oscar then damn the guy is more delusional than i thought.

If anybody will ever be able to close the distance on Floyd and make him fight it will be Hatton. Floyd will have to fight in this bout. And I dont mean in situations where he's comfortable, in control and decides to, I mean fight for ****ing real.

The question to me is Floyd's strength at this stage of his career. If's he's got the pop to bother Hatton and subsequently to back Hatton up.

If he doesn't Hatton has a very decent chance of winning, I dont know how floyd will react against a fighter so tenacious, relentless as Hatton that will be on him for 12 rounds.

If Floyd has to slog it out with Hatton for 12 rounds in a gritty fight and does come out on top than he has done something worthy of recogninition and can have a great fight to hang his hat on.

Ricky never speaks about an opponent like he does Floyd he's always very respecting of them and is always very fair with his words..he just seems so motivated to beat this man and i believe come Dec 8th he will

Thanks for the advice mate, ive just took all my money out of my bank and placed a bet on ricky knocking floyd out in the first round, odds were a bit crap though only got 1/90. Also placed a bet on floyd winning got 120/1 for that so i stuck a quid on.

As someone has said , I think Floyd's strength will be key in this fight.
Hatton has always had the advantage at 140 of using his strength to back fighters up.
The times when he has struggled has been when he hasn't been able to bully.
                  i.e Collazo & Urango.
If Floyd can keep Hatton off him then he should win easily.
If Hatton can impose his will then Floyd will be in for a horrible night.
I think the first round will show us all we need to know.
