This British Heavyweight title thing gets a lot of press to be honest.
I don't hear a ton about the Latino Flyweight title,
or
the All African Middleweight title.
Are these British Heavyweights any good, or what?Comment

Skelton is a great test for Dimitrenko. His people has put a lot of money into him and Dimitrenko really hasn't delievered, but thats due to soft opposition set up by his management. KPK needs a return and Skelton isn't going to give him that, but Skelton will tell Universum exactly where Alxeander stands. Skelton will not stop pressuring the big Ukrainian and won't let Dimitrenko fight at a distance. I personally don't think this Sascha can handle it, but if he does then he will be ready to fight some of the top 15 fightewrs in the world. I would LOVE to see him in with Taras *****koComment

Was this written by a Fat Yank or what?Belford Today reports that heavyweight Matt Skelton (21-1, 18KOs), holder of the Commonwealth (British Empire) title, has turned down a potential third fight with Danny Williams, who holds another version of the British heavyweight title. My Boy doesn't hold "another version" of the British title, it IS the British title (as in, England, Scotland and Wales). The (British) Commonwealth includes all the territories the UK pwned, like Africa. In the future America will do their own "American commonwealth title", which will include all places where there's lots of oil. Sorry, WMDs.
As for British heavies being no good, Danny Williams TKO'd Vitali for three years but the Ring refuse to admit it.Comment

Skelton is pants hes like a big fat girl trying to fight he has no ability what so ever put it this way if he was a Middleweight he would be seen as a bum and not even as good as Sakio Bika, the average man off the street could walk into a gym and whip Skelton same as Thaxton another poor excuse for a British Champion Khan will own him easily if they ever fight
if these guy were American they would'nt get an where near the NABF title , i have respect for fighters if they are good fighters these 2 dont deserve any respect IMO the dross they serve up as entertainment is just painfull to watch they dont get respect from me just because there the best of a bad bunchComment

I agree with Skelton, the British hw’s need to broaden their horizons and stop targeting other British fighters. Skelton could do wonders for his career if he beat someone in exciting fashion like Hasim Rahman, James Toney, or even a Tye Fields. He basically needs to beat a high profile or semi high profile fighter that not British!....Comment
