I think the only way to beat Daniel Ponce De Leon is to out box him. And he's a southpaw so he already has that advantage in most cases. I can't see anyone koing Daniel Ponce De Leon, unless he does something really ****** like darchyain or whatever that one boxers name did. And exposed his chin clearly for the advantage of the other boxer to nail him with something nice.

Yeah, I think that's the only way to beat him too. Outbox the hell out of him, like Peñalosa was doing at times during their fight. The person would just have to keep it up during the entire fight and not let down, risking getting your ass hit with something big and put to sleep.
He's very sloppy at times and not the most skilled, but he's a tough SOB and a very intimidating opponent for just about anybody in that division. He'll be tough to beat again. I don't think even Caballero would be able to beat him as easily as he did the first time. Ponce de Leon will know what to expect and give the freakishly tall Panamanian a much tougher fight.
Back to Peñalosa though, does anyone know if the rematch with Ponce de Leon is going to be done for the Dec. 8th PPV or not? I heard that the fight's been offered to Gerry but he's yet to sign.Comment

Sure, there was alot of hype w/ Bautista. but that's all it was, hype. F*gocity, don't tell me you bought into the hype as well, hmm. You can't buy into the hype and call the fighter a bum at the same time.
And you couldn't really tell if Daniel Delrunner improved w/ his performance against Bumtista, since it didn't even last an entire round. Delrunner didn't look good against a 35year old Gerry, that's how he got the nickname Delrunner afterall(lol) I mean, the scorecards were so lopsided, yet it's Delrunner who is itching for a rematch. What type of fighter who supposedly dominated his opponent, yet is the one itchin' for a rematch.
Fighters who win w/ relative ease, want to go for bigger fishes. Delrunner wants to go after a now 36-37 year old undersized midget, hmm.Comment

Im the one that thought Bautista as Bumtista, dont get it twisted dumb****..
I dont like De Leons style at all, i feel he'll get beaten by great boxers like Marquez, Vazquez, etc.. I do hope he improves his style tho cause hes a mean ass puncher.Comment

Wasn't it in fact Peñalosa who immediately called out Ponce de Leon for rematch 'cause he and his team believe they won the first fight? As a matter of fact, it was Gerry that called for the rematch again as soon as he beat Jhonny "He'll Spell His Name However the **** He Wants" Gonzalez (just thought I'd say that before you start up on his name again
). Now from what I've been reading is that Gerry has been offered the fight to be on the undercard of the Mayweather-Hatton PPV and he's yet to sign for it.
Anyway, I hope they do it again just to see if he can give another good boxing performance like he did the first time around, or if Ponce de Leon comes out with that chip on his shoulder and beats him convincingly this time around.Comment

You said that you saw a major improvement from the Seeger bout compared to the Bautista bout. How was it a major improvement, if you consider both Seeger and Bautista bums? Fighting a bum then fighting another bum is not an improvement. Unless, you were shocked just like the rest who bought into the Bautista hype.Comment
