Marquez Must Successfully Defend Title Against Juarez
The Manilla Bulletin and Mexico’s Daily Esto are reporting that negotiations for a rematch between 130lb superstar Manny Pacquiao and WBC champion Juan Manuel Marquez have already begun. Juan Manuel Marquez trainer and manager Ignacio Beristain has been quoted as the source. According to the report, HBO and Golden Boy Promotions have discussed the fight possibly taking place in the first quarter of 2008. Juan Manuel Marquez is scheduled to defend his title against Rocky Juarez November 3rd, on Showtime. Source: Manilla Bulletin

On another note. I think Marquez should worry about taking care of Juarez before any negotiations begin. Unless of course it's Judah style where he can lose the fight and still get the big fight afterwards. But if all goes on course, it can be a great rematch. I still wanted Manny-Valero before anything, but take what you can, right?
