Interesting question......It depends who is fighting for me.If it's a guy who you just know isn't going to stop someone , a boring fight will piss me off early. If it's guys who slug but just aren't slugging I can usually take that because there is a good chance eventually someone will get stopped later in the fight.Comment

I consider myself a "real boxing fan" but that doesn't mean I don't get bored during some fights. For me, there doesn't need to be the chance of a knockout in a fight for it to be interesting as two of my favorite fighters are Malignaggi and Calderon.
What does bore me to tears are the fights in which every round is pretty much the same, usually with one fighter easily beating the other. In these types of fights I usually get bored when it becomes clear that the whole fight will go that way, which is anywhere from the 4th to 8th round. If it is a live fight I won't change the channel, but I will get into something else, like using my laptop. If it is a video file I will usually skim through the fight just in case something interesting happens.Comment

Yeah same here. Infact, I like a lot of acutal out boxers though. I don't mind if they don't throw bombs because when people like Hopkins do land punches they are usually perfect clean punches which I admire most in boxing. Sure it's always more exciting to see a war when actually watching, but after I watch an amazing performance from someone like Hopkins or Mayweather I get so pumped up. I am excited during there fights too (well most of the time. I found Hopkins vs Eastman somewhat boring), but yeah.
Though that being said, I hate it when fighters don't throw punches at all or bare minimum. Like Cory Spinks vs Jermain Taylor.Comment
