Taxes, when a crooked administration is not in office dumping all of the money into a useless war being used to get their buddies rich, are wonderful. Countries with higher rates of taxes that provide for their citizens in the social sense have lower rates of depression and their people, generally, have a better outlook on life, are less violent, and less crime ridden.
