Does Kendall Holt deserve a rematch against Ricardo Torres?

I personally feel he deserves a rematch in America, since people in Torres home country are disgusting fans and were throwing bottles in the ring and other crap while these two warriors were trying to box each other. Plus, I don't think Holt was hurt enough to call a stoppage. In America they would have let the fight go on until it was clear that Holt couldn't go on.

The dude was throwing a punch as the ref stopped it + what all else you mentioned. No doubt. Sad organization that didn't force the immediate rematch.

The stoppage was premature and the fans were a joke. It wasn't the worst stoppage in the world based upon what the reaf was seeing. He had his head down and was lulling there, the fact that his guard was pretty tight should've been enough to tell the ref that he was ok.

Rematch soon, on better grounds, would be ideal.

Yeah, when I first saw this fight. I was biased because I wanted torres to win to make Cotto look even better as a fighter. But I think Holt was robbed and robbed bad. But the fact of it is that ppl were throwing alot of **** in the boxing ring making it a terrible fighting with holt slipping and torres slipping. It's like these fans are dumb, they could have cost the fight for there own boxer that they were rooting for. And I will be rooting for Holt to win if justice finally happens and the boxing company forces a mandatory rematch in America. I will be rooting for Holt, because I find it disgusting that Torres is a coward and didn't give Holt the rematch Holt deserved. Torres isn't an idiot he knows that Holt was robbed.

No doubt. One thing I would doubt is whether the ref walked away with a bit more than his official pay that day.

Holt deserves a rematch now, and they should threaten to take the belt from Torres if he doesn't fight Holt over here, so there can be no robbery.

"Holt (22-2-0) dominated the action early, dropping Torres in the first -- though no knockdown was called -- and sixth rounds. It was after the sixth-round knockdown that things started getting out of hand.

At the end of the sixth, Holt was hit in the face with a half-empty beer can -- and other debris was tossed his way.
His cutman Darren Antola was struck on the forehead with a full can of beer and suffered a bruise. Though Holt's cornermen complained to Rodriguez about the actions of fans, nothing was done.

Holt then knew he was fighting a three-pronged battle: one against Torres, another against the fans and finally with the ref. As talented as Holt is in the ring, no way was he walking from such an unfair battle a champion.
            "

Disgusting fight, mother ****ers. I didn't know the jack asses actually hit Holt with debris and stuff. I thought, I just heard they threw **** in the ring. What ****s... REMATCH REMATCH NOW!!!!!!!!!

Yea, it gets me heated. What has the organization actually done about it though??? Are they still considering it? If they are it seems ******ed it takes so long.

I voted No.. because I knew there would be a lot of Holt support. Fact is, I wish there was a "kinda" option.

I'd say he was robbed if all that **** starting happening when he was winning, but he wasn't. He was kinda saved a further beating, to be honest. Torres was throwing bombs. Honestly, he was wobbled, one would have finished him in. You xcould say that's from all the garbage, then sure.. give him a rematch. Fact is, I don't think it was THAT big of a robbery. Like someone said. the fans threw a lot of **** in the ring, that even Torres had to deal with. The fans were biased, not the litter.
