The only way Kessler wins is if Joe starts to show signs of aging. He is at that age where most boxers of his type start to deteriorate, so that is not out of the question, but if Calzaghe shows up in typical form, Kessler might as well quit.

I think, you was the same ****-head,whom said(Jabs are notoriously ineffective against southpaws)
    And this is BULL****
An orthodox jab will often be used against a southpaw, in order to settle for other punches when the southpaw tries to get in. In other words it is usually displayed as bait, because the southpaw will fell safe to move when he has evaded the jab

Kessler dosent stand a chance, he's been over-hyped mainly by Americans who want to see Joe fail, especially after he whooped thier boy Lacy.

I think Joe's age catches up with him in this fight. He hasn't fought a live opponent of Kessler's standards in some time. Meanwhile, Kessler has been fighting nothing but live opponents. In their primes I'd favor Joe, but his lax schedule or bum hand catches up to him in this fight.

the only fighters that Calzaghe would struggle against are spolilers who try and rough him up and turn it into an ugly fight. He still finds a way to win though.

Kessler is tailor made for Calzaghe. He won't be able to get out the way and wont be able to stay at Calzaghe's pace for 12 rounds.

Calzaghe by UD or late TKO

              So is Joseph.
And I think Joe will handle the Robotic style of Kessler easily as long as he doesn't shatter his hands on Frankenkesslers square head.

course he has a chance, but i heavily favour calz, kessler needs to do something different for this fight imo cause just jabbing and following with a straight right waiting for one to go through, every time isn't really gonna cut it, but i have a feeling he does have more to his armoury.

I think Joe will find it very hard to land punches, and impossible to stay in range for his long combinations.
I don't know why people would say Kessler is without a chance, unless they have seen to little of him to give it a fair judgment. Mind you, every one of his wins has been by total domination, nobody ever gave him trouble. I expect Joe to be trouble, but trouble he can handle. The word from Kessler's current sparring partner is (very much like the statement of Bika); Kessler isn't just more powerful, he dominates and currently has Joe beat on speed and movement too.
Kessler claims to be in the shape of his life, he started his sparring with a resting pulse of 31.
Kessler is #1 at keeping his cool under fire.

                  Does Calzaghe have a chance?

hmm not too sure about the speed and movement, he is pretty quick backing up tho although he drops his hands in the process, I don't think kessler has the tools to out box cal but if he can tag him a few times I can see him getting under joes skin, I do however think we're in for a classic and boxing needs more fights like this.

I can't see Kessler winning because Joe is hard to hit and hard to trouble with straight punches. Kessler simply doesn't have enough in his locker to beat Calzaghe who has handspeed, intelligence and all manner of punches. Joe to outbox Kessler for the decision.

People are saying that Calzaghe hasn't fought anyone of Kessler's calibre, but neither has kessler fought anyone even remotely as good as Calslappy.
