i think winky has the skills to win over pavlik, but pavlik has too much power.

no. He'd stand there and get the piss beat out of him. or he can trade punches and get the piss beat out of him. He's a flatfooted fighter without alot of power or movement. He's straight forward, upright. pavlik would just chop him down brutally.

If you watch the taylor fight closely. alot of Pavlik's big moments were preceded by effective body shots. His punching to the body is ver underrated, it's also a body punch that stopped McKart after an accumulation of punches.
