You would think that he would have a giant reach advantage on anyone.

His arm length is 25 1/2 according to HBO before the Margarito fight.

Mayweather's arm length is 26 inches according to HBO before the Baldomir and De La Hoya fights.

Cotto's was 23 1/2 before the Judah fight.

Cintron had a 26 inch arm length before the Matthysse fight.

Does Williams really have the 2nd shortest reach of the champions at 147?

That makes me seriously consider whether he is going to be a world beater at 147 or above, because I have always thought that he was a bit short on the skills, but his size would save him. But considering that he has longer arms than Cotto only, that doesn't seem to bode well for him.

Obviously a boxing match is made up of more than just size, but I'm just saying, I was shocked when I figured this out.

I really thought those were the only things that Williams couldn't be at a disadvantage in, arm reach and height. Now, I'm kind of shocked that he doesn't have the longest arms in the division.

Considering Williams's reach is 82 inches, and he is a skinny MF, I can't believe that his shoulders make up so much of that 82 inches.

For real though, I have never thought of Floyd as super long-armed... but maybe.

Ricky Hatton has 20 inch arms.

I just dug up Hatton-Castillo on youtube to see what his arm length was.

I swear this wasn't my motive when creating this thread, I just thought about it as it was progressing. Those are some damn short arms.

I thought Cintron was going to be a tough matchup for Pwil anyway, but now im sure of it. If Cintron can find Pwil at the end of his punches without getting within pwils range, goodnight paul.

Combinations fly out of this guy like water. He is a pleasure to watch.

But that is surprising. He's got those massive shoulders so i guess that adds to his wingspan.
