As for the N-word I hear it depends what context it is being used in as to it being a slur....."Whassup my *****" being a term of endearment I hear regularly.
The fact is I didn't know how to take the quote as I don't know what you posted for him or her to give back such a reply.
Perhaps YOU made a racist comment about white people?
