I basically agree. Other than Kostya Tszyu, Collazo and Urango, he has much quicker feet than people give him credit for and uses them often. But I get what you're saying, he's not the first in-fighter, and there have been great ones.Comment

I thought it was a good read, not staurated with biasness like alot of people do on this site. C-Drone talked about how both fighter could win.
I agree with most of your points, but i truly do not see Mayweather knocking Hatton out. Mayweather knocked Gatti out because, one Gatti is a c/b-grade fighter, and two is because he had beef with gatti, He wanted his fans to know he was the next best thing. Besides that, he hasn't really knocked anyone convincingly. I think he had mediocre power in the lower weight class's, but since mayweather has been going up, his power is less of a force. I have floyd winning something like 116-112 UD, but I'll def be routing for Ricky to win!Comment

I also believe hatton has a chance and will bring the fight to mayweather. The question how will mayweather handle hatton since this will be the first time in a long time that floyd has fought a fighter with hattons style and stamina. If a 34 yr old past his prime DLH can cut off the ring and get some body shots in on Mayweather imagine what Hatton would do. This will probably cause problems for mayweather early on but would later on pick his shots and win the fight by decision. i don't see Mayweather knocking hatton out. Hatton has too much will and wouldn't allow that to happen. Point blank hatton is gonna take some shots from mayweather just to get to his body. its tough doing that but I don't see no other way hatton could take advantage and get to him.Comment

I think Floyd should get more credit for his in fighting, the way he's able to use his elbow to set up his shots is brilliant, he doesn't do it in a way where you can penalize him but he does something with his elbow that just neutralizes the opponent just enough to rock him and move out of there, he did it many times against Gatti and even against Oscar and not only did it look nice he was able to land some good shots due to that, he knows how to maneuver around your punches all while landing his and thats something I just don't see Ricky Hatton overcoming, don't get me wrong Ricky Hatton stands a punchers chance because you NEVER count a puncher out but Floyd out classes him in everything including in the skills department, Ricky needs to **** out, fight like Floyd ****ed his wife minutes before the opening bell, with that intent to hurt him, thats the only real chance I see Hatton having and maybe due to his good foot work he can position himself to land a bomb or two but Floyd on top of having a great offense, defense and speed he has a great chin as well..
I just think Floyd is too much for Ricky, he's going to show Ricky 1st hand something he has never faced before while Ricky wont show Floyd nothing he hasn't seen, Floyd fought people with good power, good movement and a combo of both and he has beaten them all, I think this fight will be decided by the way Floyd comes in, I always called Floyd a percentage fighter, he doesn't throw everything at you unless he already felt you out and KNOWS he can dominate you and even still you'll see him on point blocking any potential barn burner blows, he does enough to defeat you so if you come at him with 60% he will too and kick it up from time to time to win over the judges but he doesn't LOOK for the KO, he comes to win not to fight, he CAN fight but the name of this game is Boxing and he's a master at it and I think it will be shown very clearly come Dec. 8th.. 100Comment
