    Klitschko-Ibragimov unification in the works

Can you give us some thoughts on Sultan's victory? "Obviously we're extremely happy. We're happy that he won, we're happy that he won decisively and we're happy that Evander didn't get hurt. I'll tell you there's a lot of heavyweights out there who Evander Holyfield can still beat. I'd also like to plug ESPN Classic because they're going to be replaying the fight on Saturday night at 8PM Eastern time."

Can you provide those who haven't seen the fight with a summary of how it went down?

Leon Margules: "It was a good solid heavyweight fight. It wasn't a hug-fest. Sultan just outboxed him. Evander tried and he landed some big shots, Sultan handled them, Sultan hurt Evander to the body very badly, but Evander rallied. You never felt that Evander was going to win a decision, but you never thought that he was out of the fight. Sultan was dominating most of the time of each round, but Evander had his moments and I thought it was a good fight."

: Are you disappointed that Sultan didn't stop him?

LM: "No because I love Evander Holyfield and I have some concerns for his safety. He showed that he can still fight, he showed me that he's still competitive and he showed me that he can still punch, but you get concerned when a guy keeps going."

: When will the Klitschko negotiations commence?

LM: (Laughs) "Well Shelly (Finkel) has already called me. I don't know that that's what we're going to do. I have Oliver McCall fighting Friday night, when I come back early next week I'll sit down with Team Ibragimov and we'll talk about what we want to do next."

: Is there anything you'd like to say in closing?

LM: "Under Jeff Mayweather Sultan has learned to become a boxer when he needs to be and a puncher when he needs to be. Of all the heavyweight champions, he's certainly the most disciplined and most versatile."

Atleast they are talking about it but I think Sultan wont do it? Who knows maybe he got balls but this will be career suicide and he has to know it

Thompson is gonna beat him since he has to face him in the mandatory. Won't get the chance to fight WLad.

I agree, there's no way he wins in my opinion, but maybe they no something we don't know and the fight will be made.

I think hes been trying to for awhile but there are reasons why its na happening going all the way back to Rahman-Maskaev,if Rahman won Klitschko would have unified already. Same **** with Briggs and Valuev loosin their titles those were the fights that Wlad wanted to make and the ones that made sense. Fighting Chagaev doesnt make no sense now cause not many know about him, the best he can do now is Ibragimov but cause of politics that might not happen now

Wlad would not have fought Rahman, same reason Vitali gave up his title and didn't fight Rahman and that reason is DON KING!

King wants options on his opponents and the Klitschko's will not give it to him (and rightfully so)
