Zsolt Erdei = lineal champion?

i was talking with my good friend that has good knowledge about boxing, i was talking about B-hop being the lineal champ of the division but my friend told me that Erdei is the real lineal champ of the world.

Is this true? If so, why?

It's true. Roy Jones was never lineal champ at 175lbs, so Tarver and Hopkins never were/are either..

Its because he beat julio gonzalez, who beat Dariusz Michalczewski. Dariusz Michalczewski had three of the major titles (WBA,WBO,IBF) but was stripped of two of them, he only had the WBO title when Gonzalez beat him.

its true, the considered lineal championship of the world in the ligt heavywight division has its more recent roots on the maske-hill unification, won by hill.....michalczewski then beat Hill, then Dariusz was beaten by Julio Gonzalez, and julio lost to Erdei.....

but linear does not mean better neccesarily...

i know that, but ppl think that B-Hop is the Universally recognized light heavyweight champ, but he is not! i thought B-Hop was the real champ... i guess you can't always look at the Ring Magazine Titles.

Bernard Hopkins is pretty much the reconigzed champ of lightheavy weight divsion, in my mind anyway. He beat the man who everyone was looking to beat (Tarver).

That and Zsolt may technically be the "lineal" champ, but I think everyone realizes that Hopkins is the best guy in the divsion and is the man to beat. That and he has The Ring championship which is a more worthwhile belt then any of the Alphabet titles.

i want to see zsolt erdei fight a top american, everyone says he doesent fight anyone, but i think its more a case that he cant make them enough money... why wouldnt dawson want to fight him to unify??

DM and RJJ beat on everyone for years and they then never met each other.

They ended up losing their titles to fighters they would have played with, a few years later.

I hope Hopkins retires, so that the Ring title is declared vacant. I love Bernard but his 42 yo self is not a great LHW champion, and Erdei was not great to begin with.

Erdei is the worst champion in boxing. he doesnt fight anyone worth a ****.
I would love to actually see him fight against good fighters to see if he would beat them, but all he does is fights nobodies.
