The main excuse people will make its that shane was past his prime. I think that will be bull**** because Shane (judging by the workout vids) is in still good shape and has speed. the only difference from the shane of 5 years ago to the present is that he may be a little bit slower. Other than that he is still a very skillful and powerful fighter. If cotto wins that means he beat a great fighter and should get the credit for it.
