gatti was a bum and c fighter. mitchell was an old bum. judah is a bum who was coming from a loss to a journeyman. baldomir is a bum journeyman who got 1 lucky win and maywetaher fought him. before mayweather he hadnt done nothing. de la hoya was way past his prime when mayweather fought him and he fought like a businessman anyway.

lujan was a very tough fighter and a true warrior. margarito had to take his ear off for him to quit. cintron has a belt right now and is back to knocking people out. he is a good fighter and margarito destroyed him. gomez was on a long win streak when he fought margarito but margarito didnt even let him go 1 round. clottey is a very avoided fighter that no one wants to fight but margarito fought him because he is a true warrior and beat him in a one sided fight with an injured ankle and wrist. williams is another fighter everyone is avoiding yet margarito fought him instead of taking the bigger fight with cotto. he lost the fight on a disputed decision but no one can question that margarito is not willing to fight the best.
it is clear that margarito has been fighting the better competition especially some of the best at welter while mayweather has been ducking the best and picking on old fighters or bums.
