a friend of mine played billiards with pacquiao last night and when asked about his plans for future fights, he said that he wants to fight marquez next hoping to put an end to their unfinished business. but he said that it all depends on how marquez and the promoters will negotiate since marquez is pricing himself too much. after marquez he wants to face valero and see what valero is really made up and that he felt disrespected on what valero said to him during the post fight press on his rematch with barrera. pacquiao said that valero kept boasting that he will knock him out cold and that valero talks like he is the only champion in the world. he said he cant wait to challenge him and see how much of a man he is on top of the ring. he spoke about soto saying that he wants to fight him too to avenge his brother's brutal lost but it depends on who will win between soto-guzman. either fighter he wants to fight by the end of 2008 before getting a fight on lightweight by early 2009. my friend mentioned that juan diaz has been calling pacquiao and pacquiao's words were "why does he want me to fight him soo bad? aren't there champions in his division that he has to worry about first? if he wants me so bad then he has to stand in line, i will finish 130first then he will be the first guy i will fight on 2009 when i move up to lightweight." he said that he wants to make this fights first in 130 by 2008 and have a belt to make the fans happy before going up to lightweight. he stated that he will only have 2 fights in lightweight then he will retire.

Pac will take his sweet time cleaning out his division of Soto, Guzman, Valero, Katsidis and others. By the time he decides he wants Diaz, Juan will be pushing 34.Comment

but why is juan diaz so desperate to fight pacquiao? there are champions in his division he has to worryabout. i guess he just wants a big pay day. but i think he will knock pac out and send him to retirement. i guess maybe that is why pacquiao will fight him in 2009 before he retires.Comment
