if you had any commonsense then you would distinguish that Witter is'nt as good as PBF and that the weltereweight division is the strongest in Boxing today and guess what Hatton happens to be fighting PBF next

After Hatton fights Mayweather he'll probably go back to light Welterweight. People who hate on Hatton (like I'm sure you do with the intention of this thread) say he's unproven/overrated. If that is the case, then what's that say about Witter?

Hatton will get no credit when he beats Witter (and he will beat him). If he wins everybody will say Witter was overrated, too small, never really a threat, or unknown outside of England.

So on the flipside the only reason that Hatton is Known is because of the upcoming matchup with Mayweather. Otherwise he'd be in the same predicament as Witter. Face it a loss to Witter would have ruined this opportunity...and If you Follow boxing like I believe you do...Then you would agree that Witter is a High Risk opponent.

Hatton is more known outside of the U.K than Witter is. He has 2 high profile victories over Tszyu and Castillo. Who does witter have? Harris never had a big fan following. Hatton was known outside of the U.K before the Mayweather fight was even announced thanks to Tszyu and Castillo. The Mayweather fight is just boosting his popularity even further.

I agree that a loss to Witter owuld have completely killed any chance Ricky had at getting a shot at Floyd. And Witter is a very high risk opponet for anybody at Junior Welter. He's high risk, low reward and therefore I expect him to be avoided like a plague.

My bet is that after Hatton fights Mayweather he'll drop to Junior Welter again because he's a natural fit for that division. He's way too small to **** it out with any of the current Welterweights aside from Cotto and Mayweather. Guys like Williams, Cintron, Mosley and Margarito dwarf him. Even Oscar has 4 inches on him.

So I expect him to drop back down and eventually fight Witter.

It's interesting to see that you have the punch stats for Mayweather -Castillo I for your sig. If you want to do some justice on this match-up compare punch-stat results from Castillo-Mayweather I and II as your sig. When criticized of the performance in the first outing he didn't complain.
                    He took the re-match.
