No way he was beating Castillo! That was a completely one sided beating that ended with a rightful knockout. All 3 judges had Castillo up 88-83, which I think is more or less the right score. A little wider would be accepted at well.

Sorry to sound like I am shutting you down, but I just don't see how you could see it that way.

i agree, but he's slowly starting to get my respect. After years of fighting bums and I mean bums. I thought the Freitas, and Julio Diaz's of the world would give him a little more problem but he simply ran 'em over.

Juan is similar to PAC in alot of ways. Feed 'em boxers that can move and jab and they're lost. Outside of the $$$ fighting PAC. Juan and Don King will try to stay away from Casa for as long as they can. Probably wait for Casa to retire or Casa looks so d*mn faded ,then that's when Don King will make his move.

Well, if you compare Freitas and Julio to the rest of the bums that Juan has been fed all these years. Freitas and Julio are Hall of Famers compared to the Lorcy', Sim's of the world(lol)

This is the thing though, not that I thought highly of Freitas and Julio but I would say that Popo and Julio are shoulders above Juan's previous competition. But you and I don't really give that much credit to Juan either. That's why I'm scratching my head that he had it so easy w/ both guys. Because I thought Juan would've have been met with a little more resistance. But Juan ran 'em over. So I would have to give Juan a little more credit.

Juan's got a brick for a head, he was coming in getting hit flush and walked right through them. Then the combinations he threw were sick, at least half of them landed every time. You can say what you will but his conditioning and work rate are astounding. He didn't fade at all through out the fight and kept on coming. He may not be a great but the man's got some serious heart and that in of itself makes me a fan. He may have been fed bums in the past but it seems like it was the right move cause he looks fresh and brings some excitement to the sport. These are the types of fights the public needs to see. Its not pretty pitty pat punches but straight up raw aggretion.
