    Ibragimov Beats Holyfield To Retain WBO Title

    Sultan Ibragimov (22-0-1, 17KOs) retained his WBO heavyweight title with a tactical unanimous decision win over Evander Holyfield (42-9-2, 27KOs) at the Khodynka Ice Palace in Moscow, Russia. The scores were 118-110, 117-111, 117-111, all for Ibragimov. [details]

    I'm going to be the first to say this; Sultan has become the Floyd Mayweather of the hw divison. He's quick, he gets in and out with his punches, is in excellent condition but doesn't have that killer instinct to press the action and get the KO....

      The Floyd nuthuggers should be huge fans of Sultan now, right. If not, then they are contradicting themselves.

      For the record, Sultan is still more entertaining than Floyd.

        He could've eaily won a slugfest with his faster hands. But a wide decision will be a given for him against a lot of bigger heavyweights.

            Well, that sucks. Really wish Holyfield had pulled it out but I can't say the result is a surprise. At least he didn't get KO'd like I predicted.

            And he's still not retiring?
