      1. Shut the hell up.

      2. This isn't the fighters fault, it's simply the location of the arena. Apparently it's some stadium outside of Chicago barely anyone has heard of. I guarantee you put it anywhere else and it'll do numbers. Somewhere like Texas would've sold out the place- but the out of the way destination plus the ridiculously overpriced tickets did the trick.

King's been doing this to himself (and the fans) lately with all the horrible matchups he's been putting up lately along with the weird choice of venues. The Dawson-Ruiz card, Peter-McCline card and now Diaz-Diaz have all been flops (and that's just in the last three weks).

I think Juan Diaz is overrated. I'll bet 5,000 points on Julio taking a 3:1 odds...anyone who will give me this odds? Hey its 4:1 in Vegas...

From what I have read, Don King's dumb ass picked the wrong venue that's in the middle of nowhere. I also heard the tickets are overpriced. Juan Diaz should have signed with Golden Boy.

Wrong. This fight wasn't handled well by Don King is the problem. Diaz/Morales was a huge success in Chicago.

Another thing was that they did a real bad job of Promoting this fight, This fight should of been in Texas Baby bulls hometown.

that is no good for the sport of boxing.

you have a lightweight unification title fight with (in my opinion) the two best current fighters in that division and 3,000 fans is all that will be in attendance?

then if 3,000 is really all that shows in attendance then it just may be the most underrated fight of 2007.

the fans always want the title unification bouts but when they're made then no one watches them?

either that or HBO is going to own everyone on ratings?

dont know but i know for sure calzaghe and kessler's fight will be jam packed.

There are nosebleed seats that cost $100 and Hoffman Estates is a poor choice for a venue. I live about 75 minutes out but I'm not dropping a c-note for a BAD card with a ****ty undercard. Morales-Diaz was a great card and cost half as much but I guess thats DK's fault

big difference ... Kessler/Calzaghe are fighting in a stadium that can seat 60,000 people.

its not a fair comparisson because at full capacity Diaz -Diaz could be 11,000

there are a lotta reasons mentioned above why Diaz-Diaz didn't sell well

hell $100 tickets for nosebleeds sounds like a pretty good one.
