you dont have to defend him, im not saying its a bad thing but he could definently compete at 122 or 126 and possibly have decent power at those weighs, he has more than 10 pounds of extra on him. but like someone said, he looked dried out and fatigued anywayz.

Thats how he looks every fight. The guy just has like baby fat, that he will lose with maturity. He's only 24 after all, and an immature 24 at that.

This should be a TREMENDOUS fight, i cant wait

Yeah what Kball said, I think it's just baby fat. Obviously the guy keeps himself in excellent condition. Also some guys are ripped, and some guys will always be a little pudgy. Johnny Tapia didnt have the body you'd expect to see on a guy with excellent stamina either.

No intention of hi******* this thread but, may I raise a question with the hope that someone can provide the answer?

I just learned that Ibragimov-Holyfield shall be carried "live" by a principal network in the Philippines. Why? Why this fight, instead of Diaz vs. Diaz?

Talk has been rife over the last week that Pacquiao is considering meeting the winner of the Chicago fight among several other possibilities.

What's in the Moscow fight that should generate interest among Filipinos? I haven't heard of any Filipino prospect fighting in the heavyweight division... And, Ibragimov-Holyfield is not so big as to warrant being given priority over Diaz-Diaz.

Should Filipino fight fans who had not seen either or both Diaz/es in action be deprived of this chance because people in the country's TV sports programming depts. are seemingly out to a very protracted lunch?

                  I dunno... just asking...

Yes buddy, the holyfield - ibragimov fight will be aired live by ABS-CBN tomorrow becuse holyfield is popular here in the philippines and they are promoting this fight as an outbreak in the boxing ring between usa and russia after the coldwar haha!!! It's a formula that would sell and nobody here, except for boxing fans, knows the two diazes. All the people care about is pacman.

btw, I notice that juan grew a lot older since i last saw him.

imho diaz vs diaz will appeal to the Pinoy boxing fans, but HOLYFIELD has more name recall for the average Pinoy viewers...
