thought boxing was getting its act together

i was hoping boxing after getting a kick up the arse from the ufc was getting its act together and starting to put together evenly matched bouts like the upcoming mayweather and calzaghe fights which have got us fans excited cause we dont really know the outcome, thats what the ufc do match fighters that are evenly matched,so my hopes were up,THEN frank warren announces that enzo macrenelli will defend his world title against some ezro sellers a ****ing 39 year old who has just come off a 3 year break from boxing. now at least calzaghe and kessler are topping that bill but my point is there are so many ****** world title fights butween a champ and a no hoper it is tuning fans away in droves.

soooo then your assuming boxing is **** again because of that announcement? so then you are completely ignoring the tornado of excitement that has been Boxing in 2007? have you NOT been watching any fights this year? im a BIG fan of MMA. i watch UFC, BODOG and IFL and even though there were some great fights, i havent yet been dramatically entertained as i have been by some of the fights ive seen in boxing this year.

not at all what i am saying is for boxing to keep up the recovery with good matchups which they have been doing recently BUT if they start making bouts like macrenelli and sellers fans will again start losing interest.calling this fight a world title fight is an insult to fight fans.
