When Floyd signed up for the show I had mix feelings. At 1st I was upset because he should only be thinking about Hatton but then I thought it was a good thing because it was a very popular main stream show and he could gain alot of casual fans and make them watch his fight.
I still thought it was a good thing after week 1 but since then Im starting to think it was bad again. I didnt get to catch the last show until the very end so I only saw some Floyd highlights but his dancing looked dumb just like in week 2. I thought in week 1 he had a pretty exciting dance, atleast for when it comes too the Ball room but since then his dances have been so ******.
Im not a 100% sure how it works but I think the show gives them a couple of different types of dances to choose from every week and then the Dance star sets the choragrophy for it. Now is it just me or is she making the dumbest dances in the world for Floyd to do? Dont get me wrong, Floyd is obviously not a great dancer and she very well is but the dances she is making up are so dumb. In week 2 all he did was the same thing over & over again which was basically a ****** little skip from side to side. Then last week he looked like he was doing some dumb leaping in the air things again. They look like things kids would do. I know its ball room but the other guys partners and making up way better dances for them.
Im not saying this in a way like Im mad about Floyd losing because I dont care about that at all. Im saying it in a way that now I think he is losing the main stream fans that he did gain or he simply isnt gaining any. I think people watching the show probally are starting to think that he looks ******. Mostly all of us thought he looked pretty good in week 1 and I believe Floyd when he said that everyone on the street was telling him that but since then he has looked so dumb and its not just his dancing. Its the dances that he is doing. If he wouldve danced like in week 1 every week and then lose at some point then I think it wouldve been a great show for him and he wouldve gained alot of fans and they wouldve watched the fight but now I think he maybe gone this next week and with 3 straight ****** looking dances.
That girl might look good but she has been a horrible choreogrpher. Again, Im not talking about her teaching him how to dance but Im talking about her deciding how to design the dance that looks ******. His dances dont look like any other guy on the show or the guys in previous years and I think its starting to backfire on him. Hopefully she can makeup something better this week. Again, I know she only has a couple of choices to pick from when it comes to what style they decide to do but after that point, I think she designs the dance they do and so far she has totally ****** since week 1 and is making people starting to dread to watch Floyd. I mean I know they dont do the manliest dances anyway but she's making him look like a gay ferry and she has seemingly no creativity when it comes to her designs compared to the other ladies who are teaching the men. As of now I think it may backfire to where he took time away from training and didnt gain hardly any fans unless he steps up this week
