  • Kermit Cintron Vs Paul Williams

What do you guys think would happen if these two ever fought?

Good matchup that I hope happens actually. Both are tough up and coming Champions in the same weight class and almost the same size.

I can easily see Williams punch output giving Kermit problems, because with his work rate he'll make anybody look bad. But I can also see Emmanuel Steward coming up with a plan to get inside of Williams.

On a gamble, Cintron by late KO.

You can't be serious. That is a bad gamble. Williams iz a tough g. He beat Margarito's candy ass all night long. Kermit the white boy got his ass knocked out already. Paul Williams is a level higher and will fight Pretty Boy Floyd in a dream fight babeh!

A Williams UD is entirely possible but a knockout? Williams doesn't sit down on his punches enough for it. When he sits down on punches he lowers his workrate, and his ultimate goal is to outwork an opponet and he does that well.

He didn't knock out Luis Hernandez or Marteze Logan. Or a few other dudes he fought even before that. I think Cintron will be a completely different fighter with Steward in his corner, and he seems to be on the right track admitting that he's starting from scratch again.

That said, this is a very tough fight to call IMO due to Williams' insane work rate and Cintron's incredible power. It would be razor thin and I could see both guys winning.

I'd still rather see a rematch between Williams and Margarito. The first fight turned out pretty good (the second half at least) once Margarito decided it was time to start fighting! I think in a rematch Margarito would know he'd have to start sooner and that would make for a better fight. We'd probably even see both fighters take more chances in some toe-to-toe action!

Either Williams' amazing punch output wins him a UD or Cintrons power punching KO's Williams. It'd be a good and tough fight to pick for sure!

Cintron is a white boy no talent. He is a stepping stone for good talent like Margarito or Paul Williams. He will never fight Pretty Boy Floyd.
