    Golden Boy Wants Pacquiao-Marquez Rematch

Golden Boy Promotions vice president Eric Gomez says “obviously we would like (Juan Manuel) Marquez” as the next opponent of Filipino ring idol Manny Pacquiao but stressed it would depend on the conversations between Top Rank promoter Bob Arum and Pacquiao sometime next month. [details]

At least the two promoters are somehow on the same page... Arum after the Barrera fight hinted that PAC-JMM is what fans want and now this... It's time to settle the monetary issues...

Your right, and he is due $2,000,000. JMM is more marketable than Arum and Co. is giving him credit for. Sure he isn't the giant draw Pac-man is, but he is the champ and beat Barrera more impressively recently than Manny did and even though the fight was closer. Plus it was a clinic Marquez put on Pacquaio in their last fight once he got his senses together after Manny about took off his head. I'm not saying Marquez will take Manny this time, Manny is a better boxer now than before and Juan takes a few more risks than previously. But he is the champion and is a big name and a big draw and fans will put out the money to see the fight. Paying Marquez 2million isn't that big of a deal, Manny will make much more than that off of the television rights alone in the Phillipines. If they land Marquez compared to Valero, there is more money to be made, and a greater legacy, especially now that Manny is in his prime physically while Marqhuez is leaving his physical prime but entering his marketable prime.

$2,000,000 is too Big for Marquez... If you compare JMM with Marco in terms of Crowd Support, Juan Manuela is very far BEHIND...

$1,000,000 to 1,500,000 is enough for Marquez!!!

I wonder how much JMM get in the Barrera fight...?

              Compare Ticket Price:
              JMM vs Juarez : $300, $200, $100
              PacMan vs Barrera : $600, $500, $400, $300

To those who say that JMM kick PacMan ass... in the first fight... Are you Blind???
Who ended having a Broken Nose? Who's Face is Like a Mess??? Who got Knockdown 3 TIMES???

To those who said PacMan is Scare of Marquez>>>
Who was Offer to $700,000 but Decline, instead fight an Unkown Champion for $30,000???????? Worst he get his ASS KICK!!! Chicken Bastard!!!

PacMan vs Marquez II... Bring it on~~~

This fight makes the most sense for both fighters involved.

For Pac, it's a chance to avenge a draw and fight a highly regarded p4p fighter instead of guys like Guzman, Soto or Diaz. Who, with all due respect to them, would probably be murdered by Pacquiao easily.

For Marquez, it's a chance to avenge a draw and fight another highly regarded p4p fighter instead of B class guys like Juarez. It's also a chance for him to make more money and maybe get his name out there even more. Not to mention the chance to avenge years of being ****ed over by a ****** management team.

I doubt it happens though. Marquez's management team has their head so far up their ass they can see what they ate for lunch. They'll blow off a big money pay day and a chance at stardom to go fight some dumb top 20 ranked contender on some corner of the globe.

I can see you are a huge pacman fan and not knowing what is going on with Marquez.

Marquez has a lot of fan support. Just see his fights and you'll see a lot of people screeming for Marquez. And yelling his name in the fight.

Marquez defently deserves the 2 milliion. Just like Pacquiao felt he deserved more money to fight Morales for a 3rd time or else he wasn't going to fight. If Pacquiao is so marketable then why all the bull**** that they can't pay Marquez the 2 million he wants?

I can point to Delahoya, the golden boy would pay his opponets ridiculous money more then they had ever earned. Why because they deserved it, because he could pay them that kind of money.

So if Pacquiao doesn't bring in 2 million for Marquez then admit it and say Pacquiao fame and draw is all bull**** and he hardly sells and there for they can't pay Marquez the money he deserves.
